This is my first commission, Shasta and Cody. As you can see , I had a lot to go by with their pictures. I tried to make their eyes “pop” and seem more alive, which is my specialty. These cute guys were my client’s husband’s favorite dogs, so they had to be just right! They both were done on 11×14″ Strathmore Drawing 70lb paper; Prismacolor and Derwent color pencils.

This is my Aunt Corliss Neal’s dog, Lilee, an Australian Shepherd. I happened to ask her if I could use her as a subject for a project to work on back in April 2018 and she said yes! After I showed her the completed work a few weeks later, she just had to have it!! So I ended up with a sale unbeknownst to me! Done on 9×12″ Strathmore Colored Pencil paper; Prismacolor colored pencil,

This is Finnius or “Finny” , my newest commission. I finished “Finney” and mailed him off to the client today (8-1-2018)! She was quite pleased to see what I was able to to with the pictures given. I was even able to put in a stormy background with him in that cute little raincoat! Paper: Strathmore Colored Pencil 9×12″ 100lb; Prismacolor and Derwent color pencils. NFS

I was recently contacted in November to do a commission by my sister-in-law for my brother in Texas. This little one is 14 years old, so she wanted to preserve its’ likeness in color pencil. I obliged willingly and was able to get it to her within two weeks time. Needless to say she was ever so happy!
